Start with your license
Eligibility begins with an active qualifying medical license — typically an RN, NP, PA, or MD/DO. A cosmetic, esthetics, or beauty license is generally not a qualifying medical license for medical aesthetic procedures.
Then your state
Your state sets scope, delegation, supervision, and ownership rules. The same treatment may be within your scope in one state and restricted in another. Check your nursing or medical board's guidance before enrolling in training.
Then your intended services
Different treatments carry different requirements. Prescription products and energy-based devices may require physician delegation or oversight. Some treatments are restricted to physicians. What you want to perform shapes what eligibility you need.
A realistic path
Eligibility is not a single yes or no. It depends on your license, your state, the treatments you want to offer, and the oversight available to you. If those line up, you likely have a path — and the next step is to map it out: training, oversight, insurance, documentation, and supervised experience.
Who this isn't for
If you do not hold an active qualifying medical license, the treatments described here are generally not within your legal scope. NOVI resources are intended for licensed medical providers.
